While the majority of funding for our charitable foundation comes from the dues of our membership, we cannot accomplish our charitable goals without donations from our community. Throughout the year, our members participate in safety nights hosted by the City of Henderson to spread messages of violence prevention and safety awareness, and Talk Shop with Cops to engage with our citizens on issues concerning them. Additional charitable efforts include the orchestration of our Annual “Shop with a Cop” program with Target, participation in the annual charitable hockey game against local fire fighters, as well as donations to S.A.F.E. House to assist victims of domestic violence. We are also a perennial sponsor of the Youth Leadership Authority’s, Southern Nevada Devil Pups program.

The HPOA remains involved in the Henderson business community through their membership to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, and Water Street District Business Association.
