Las Vegas Tribune: Henderson Police Officers’ Association hosts Open House and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

The Henderson Police Officers’ Association (HPOA) recently is hosted an Open House for their newly remodeled union office and hall in downtown Henderson. The event was well attended by City of Henderson elected officials and leaders, Henderson Chamber of Commerce members and business owners, and Henderson residents.

The Open House kicked off with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, in conjunction with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. Afterwards, guests were able to meet and greet with Henderson Police Officers, tour the hall, and enjoy a catered lunch provided by local businesses, Emerald Island Casino, and Flemming’s Bakery.

Ken Kerby, HPOA President, was grateful for the high attendance and says, “It is great to see members of the Henderson community come together to support their local police officers. I am glad myself and fellow officers had the chance to meet residents and show them around our headquarters. We thank all of those who were able to attend.”

The HPOA Union Office & Hall serves as the headquarters for their Executive Board to meet, as well as a place for their members to gather. The office is located in downtown Henderson off of Water Street, at 145 Panama Street, Henderson, NV 89015.
